LEIPZIG, Germany: Ceramic restorations have been scientifically recognized for a long time and enjoy great popularity because they are free of metal and yield an esthetically pleasing result. Furthermore, the demand for ceramic restorations by patients is increasing. In a free webinar, presented on Sept. 19 by the Dental Tribune Study Club, an expert will demonstrate the correct preparation techniques, and give advice and recommendations for optimal restorations with all-ceramic materials.
During the course, which will be broadcast live online, university professor Dr. Roland Frankenberger from Germany will discuss preparations for all-ceramic restorations, such as inlays, partial crowns and crowns; the finishing and polishing of high-performance ceramics; and the insertion of all-ceramic restorations.
The webinar, titled "Preparation techniques and luting of all-ceramic restorations—What are the key issues?," will be presented in English and is free of charge. All participants will receive an ADA CERP-recognized CE point after successfully completing a multiple-choice questionnaire about the topic discussed.
The course will be broadcast on Sept.19 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Registration is now open on the Dental Tribune Study Club website, www.dtstudyclub.com.
