Permanent Tooth Replacement

Dental implants are another great option for replacing missing teeth and stablizing bridges or dentures.

A dental implant is a small titanium, threaded shaft that is permanently placed into the jaw bone and then allowed to integrate into the bone for a few months.

Once the implant is firmly integrated into the bone, Dr. Savage then places a crown, bridge, or dentureconnector in the top.

Implants are advantageous over bridges as they do not stress or require crowning adjacent teeth. Implants are also helpful in retaining lower dentures to prevent movement of the denture.
