ORANGE/OXNARD, Calif., USA: In order to strengthen its dental product portfolio and to increase services to dental professionals and health care providers worldwide, global dental manufacturer Kerr has signed a partnership with DUX Dental, which manufactures and distributes products, such as dental cement and disposable bib holders, globally.

"DUX Dental is an excellent complement to Kerr's portfolio of dental consumables and small equipment, and broadens our consumables and restorative offerings to the general practitioner, dental specialist, hygienist, and institutional customer," said Kerr President Damien McDonald.

Further, McDonald announced that the company has acquired Vettec, a worldwide provider of animal health care products, to create opportunities for growth in the animal health care market. 

Both DUX Dental and Vettec will join the KaVo Kerr Group global platform of brands, which include KaVo, Kerr, Instrumentarium Dental, SOREDEX, i-CAT, Implant Direct and Ormco.
